Get a Sneak Peek of Defiance Episode 1.03 - The Devil in the Dark As “Defiance” enters its third week on Syfy, we’re getting a better handle on who’s who and what’s what; and in Episode 1.03, “The Devil in the Dark,” hellbugs enter the mix. “Defiance” stars Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran, Jaime Murray, Fionnula Flanagan, Mia Kirshner, and Oscar nominee Graham Greene. The series is executive produced by Rockne O’Bannon (“Farscape”), Kevin Murphy (“Desperate Housewives,” “Caprica”), and Michael Taylor (“Battlestar Galactica”). Kevin Murphy serves as showrunner. “Defiance” is produced by Universal Cable Productions.
