Marc Forster Clarifies Details Regarding World War Z ReshootsThe woes surrounding World War Z have been well documented since the movie went into production. That being said, a release is finally in sight, and director Marc Forster recently decided to clarify things regarding the reshoots.

Regarding the length of the reshoots Forster tells Empire Online, “We shot for about four and a half [weeks]. Reshooting was always normal… Our reshoots were a little more exposed in the press because we had a different ending. We felt a different ending would serve the movie better. It’s the same if you’re buying a house and you roll out a nice Persian carpet for your living room and you realise it doesn’t really fit.”

In the film Brad Pitt plays a U.N. employee racing against time and fate as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly zombie pandemic, and his Plan B shingle is producing. Mireille Enos (“Big Love”, “The Killing”) plays his wife, a mother of two girls. Their co-stars include Eric West, Matthew Fox, David Morse, and James Badge Dale.
