Here it is – the last installment in our Countdown to “Defiance”, which features a new trailer, a slew of behind-the-scenes videos, and co-star Julie Benz answering fans’ Twitter questions about the show.
The series stars Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran, Jaime Murray, Fionnula Flanagan, Mia Kirshner, and Oscar nominee Graham Greene. “Defiance” is directed by Scott Stewart (Legion, Priest) and written/executive produced by Rockne O’Bannon (“Farscape”), Kevin Murphy (“Desperate Housewives,” “Caprica”), and Michael Taylor (“Battlestar Galactica”). Kevin Murphy serves as showrunner. “Defiance” is produced by Universal Cable Productions.

Episode 1.01 – “Pilot” (airing 4/15/13)
The arrival of the mysterious Nolan (Grant Bowler) and his charge Irisa (Stephanie Leonidas) to the town of Defiance marks a threat to the fragile peace that exists between the residents in the premiere of this futuristic drama, which is set in the year 2046, more than 30 years following a war between humans and aliens that left Earth forever changed.
