From the Press Release
Random Axe Entertainment is proud to announce the online premiere of the award-winning horror short MASKED, a film about a young journalist and family man named Alex who’s interrogated by a criminal psychologist after he and his family are attacked by a masked man.

MASKED will premiere on the Random Axe Entertainment YouTube channel this afternoon at 3pm PT/6pm ET and will be followed by a LIVE stream on the same channel with the filmmakers, allowing viewers to ask questions, critique the film, and hear about upcoming projects from Random Axe Entertainment.

MASKED is a short horror film written and directed by Alex Williams. The film was crowdfunded last year on IndieGoGo.com by producers Alex Williams and Luis Rodriguez, and they successfully raised just over $4,000 for the production.

The film took 6 days to shoot and was edited in Williams’ spare time over the course of a few months. Its festival premiere was on March 23, 2013 in Ashland, Oregon, at the Killer Valley Horror Film Festival. The film took home three awards: Best Actor (Luis Rodriguez), Best Director (Alex Williams), and Best Film.

The film will be available online indefinitely; however, fans will be able to purchase the Blu-ray or DVD that will include tons of special features at a future date. The filmmakers also hope to take MASKED to several other film festivals over the course of the next year.
