Prepare yourselves for some earth-shattering, mind-bending news that will shake you to the very core of your existence! FX announced today that “American Horror Story: Coven” will debut around Halloween time later this year! Good Christ, we never saw that coming!
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced at the recent Paley Fest that Season 3 of “American Horror Story” will be subtitled “Coven.” “It’s a really cool story that we’ve been talking for a couple years, and this seemed to be the year to do it,” he said, noting the series will shoot in multiple locations, one of which is New Orleans — the first time the series has exited its soundstage filming location.
Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, and Jessica Lange, who won an Emmy for her Season 1 performance, all star.
