Goyer’s Thriller Gets Title, Cast

Finally the “Untitled David Goyer Supernatural Project” has found itself a title; Unborn. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the title, which has been floating around for a while, in a story about yet more cast being added to the thriller.
Megan Good (pictured, One Missed Call), Carla Gugino (Rise), Jane Alexander (The Ring), Idris Elba (28 Weeks Later) and Rhys Coiro (The Last House on the Left) make up the aforementioned cast, joining Gary Oldman and Odette Yustman.
Wow, that’s a pretty hip cast wouldn’t you say? Not that I’m really aware of what makes something “hip” or not, being an old square, but they all seem to have been in trendy, hip horror movies recently so that’s gotta count for something, right?
Unborn is the story of a girl (Yustman) who is tormented by the soul of a boy who died during the Holocaust. Though it’s a ghost story and I’m sick to death of those, I have to admit the premise is kind of interesting. Curious to see where Goyer goes with it.
Shooting on Unborn starts up today in Chicago.
