Lionsgate Releasing a Real Nailbiter





When director Patrick Rea first sent over his first short film for us we knew one thing for sure... this cat was going places. His next stop landed him straight to Lionsgate's front door as the studio is releasing Rea's latest feature Nailbiter!

Nobody is prepared for the dark side of nature in the critically acclaimed film, Nailbiter, arriving on DVD, Digital Download and Video on Demand May 28 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Winner at dozens of horror film festivals across the country, the film was also praised for its acting, directing and cinematography. The Nailbiter DVD, including two audio commentaries featuring cast and crew, plus a storyboard to screen featurette, will be available for the suggested retail price of $26.98.

Forced to take refuge from a deadly tornado, the Maguire family finds shelter in an abandoned storm cellar. As the storm passes, the family tries to make their way out only to realize that someone or something, not quite human, is holding them captive. Struggling to get out alive, they soon realize that they aren't alone.

    "Nailbiter" is a great horror film, and Patrick Rea is my favorite indie director working today. Good for him.
