IFC Announces Dates for Antiviral and Sightseers

While we all still wait patiently for Maniac to makes its debut here in the States, IFC Midnight has released the VOD dates for two of its other upcoming and highly anticipated chillers, Antiviral and Sightseers.
Look for Brandon Cronenberg’s Antiviral starring Caleb Landy Jones, Malcolm McDowell, and Sarah Gadon on April 12.
Synopsis
Antiviral follows Syd March, an employee at a clinic that sells injections of live viruses harvested from sick celebrities to obsessed fans. Biological communion – for a price. Syd also supplies illegal samples of these viruses to piracy groups, smuggling them from the clinic in his own body. When he becomes infected with the disease that kills super sensation Hannah Geist, Syd becomes a target for collectors and rabid fans. He must unravel the mystery surrounding her death before he suffers the same fate.
Look for Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers starring Alice Lowe and Steve Oram on May 10.
Synopsis
Chris (Steve Oram) wants to show Tina (Alice Lowe) his world, and he wants to do it his way – on a journey through the British Isles in his beloved Abbey Oxford Caravan. Tina’s led a sheltered life, and there are things that Chris needs her to see – the Crich Tramway Museum, the Ribblehead Viaduct, the Keswick Pencil Museum and the rolling countryside that separates these wonders in his life. But it doesn’t take long for the dream to fade. Litterbugs, noisy teenagers and pre-booked caravan sites, not to mention Tina’s meddling mother, soon conspire to shatter Chris’ dreams and send him, and anyone who rubs him up the wrong way, over a very jagged edge…
