The first image from Eli Roth’s new film, The Green Inferno, has made its way online, and we have every blood-smeared pixel of it for you right here. The flick wrapped a few weeks ago so look for more on it in the near future.
Principal photography commenced in Peru and then moved to Santiago, Chile, on Eli Roth’s (Hostel, Cabin Fever) The Green Inferno, which stars Lorenza Izzo (Aftershock), Ariel Levy (Aftershock), Aaron Burns, Daryl Sabara (John Carter, Machete), Kirby Bliss Blanton (Project X), Magda Apanowicz (Dead Souls), and actress/singer Sky Ferreria. Worldview Entertainment, a leading independent motion picture production and investment company, is financing and producing the horror thriller, which is directed by Roth and based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Aftershock co-writer Guillermo Amoedo.
Synopsis
A group of student activists from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.
