UPDATE! First Ruins Poster

It’s small, but effective. How many times have you had to explain that in your life? Personally I never have (ahem), but this time I will because I’m talking about the poster for Carter Smith’s The Ruins.
What’d you think I was talking about, perverts?
The poster showed up over on IMP Awards today in one of those rare occasions when they don’t have the big huge high-res version immediately available. I have to say I really dig it a lot, too; a girl, obviously in pain, being overrun by (or becoming) vegetation, which is pretty much what the film is about anyway: killer plants.
The Ruins follows a group of friends whose Mexico vacation goes horribly wrong when they follow a fellow tourist to some ancient ruins and accidentally awaken an ancient evil. The local plant life gets a mind of its own and a taste for blood.
