Peter Facinelli – Out of the Twilight and into The Freezer

Now that The Twilight Saga has come to an end (at least for now), fans have been keeping an eye on cast members to see what they do next. Case in point: actor Peter Facinelli, who has just landed himself a chilly new gig.

According to The Wrap, Peter Facinelli has joined Dylan McDermott in the cast of The Freezer, an upcoming action thriller from director Mikael Salomon.

Dr. Carlisle Cullen… er we mean Facinelli will play Sam, one of two men locked in an industrial freezer. McDermott will play Robert, an everyday guy, who finds himself “tested beyond human endurance when he awakens to find himself locked in an industrial freezer by Russian thugs who insist he return the $8 million he stole from them. The only problem is Robert has no idea what they are talking about. As he fights for his life before freezing to death, the truth slowly reveals itself.”

The film is shooting this month in Edmonton.
