Another One of the Prisoners Falls In Line

Some more Prisoners casting news has come in as Variety reports that The Dark Knight's David Dastmalchian has joined the much talked about fray. No word yet on his role, but we'll get ya the goods as soon as we can!

Alcon Entertainment's Prisoners stars Hugh Jackman, Melissa Leo, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, and Paul Dano. It's drected by Denis Villeneuve and will be shooting in Georgia. Warner Bros. has set a September 20th release.

Written by Aaron Guzikowski (Contraband), the story revolves around a small-town carpenter named Keller (Jackman) whose young daughter and her best friend are kidnapped. After the cops fail to find them, Keller takes the law into his own hands but in the process runs up against Detective Loki (Gyllenhaal), a hotshot cop with confidence to burn, assigned to the case.
