Thankfully, the Mayans were wrong. The world didn’t end, and the zombie apocalypse has been — at least temporarily — delayed. So what plans should you make now that New Year’s Eve is a go? How about watching AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 3 marathon?

From 9:00 PM ET, Monday, December 31st, through 5:00 AM ET, Tuesday, January 1st, AMC will air a marathon of the first eight episodes of Season 3 of “The Walking Dead,” beginning with “Seed” and ending with “Made to Suffer.”

The Walking Dead returns with all-new episodes on February 10th, beginning with Episode 3.09, “The Suicide King,” written by Evan Reilly and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter.
