Some quick distro news has come in for you cats. Tribeca Film has acquired Black Forest: Hansel and Gretel & The 420 Witch starring Lara Flynn Boyle (“Twin Peaks”) as the evil witch, renamed it to Hansel & Gretel Get Baked, and have slated it for release via On Demand February 19.

Twilight actor Michael Welch and “Castle” star Molly Quinn portray the endangered siblings. Tribeca will also give the film a select theatrical release in February 2013.

Synopsis
When an evil drug-dealing witch (Lara Flynn Boyle) holds Gretel’s stoner boyfriend hostage, she and her brother, Hansel, must save him from a gruesome death — or face the last high of their lives.
