Monaghan Finds a Pet

Dominic Monaghan, who you all may know as Charlie from “Lost”, seems to have an affinity for our genre. First he starred alongside Ron Perlman in the Glass Eye Pix film I Sell the Dead (more on that soon), now he’s taken girls captive for his own sick pleasures in MGM’s Pet.
The Hollywood Reporter announced that Monaghan will star in the film as Seth, a man who bumps into his high school crush and decides to take her hostage, keeping her captive under the animal shelter where he works. Brilliant! Unfortunately for him, though, he soon realizes she’s not all she seemed to be at first … whatever that means.
Edna McCallion will direct Pet, which the trade reports should roll sometime in the next few months. Hopefully we’ll find out more about what’s wrong with the girl very soon!
