Anne Hathaway Faces Steven Spielberg's Robopocalypse

Some quick casting news is coming in for Steven Spielberg's new film, Robopocalypse! Empire is reporting that Anne Hathaway has joined the production. Read on for more and tell us how much you're looking forward to the end of the world.

Hathaway joins Ben Whishaw and Chris Hemsworth in the Steven Spielberg adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson’s novella.

Exploring the fate of the human race following a robot uprising, Robopocalypse has been adapted for the screen by Drew Goddard, based on the novel of the same name by Daniel H. Wilson. DreamWorks acquired the rights to Wilson’s unpublished manuscript in November 2009. Published by Doubleday on June 8, 2011, the book soon appeared on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
