So as you can see, I’m still able to get online in Mother England and just wanted to give you guys a quick update on how the set of 28 Weeks Later is looking.
In one word: Awesome. We got to see some very cool stuff filmed today and were able to talk to one of the film’s producers as well as one of the infected. But so far the coolest thing for me had nothing to do with the movie. While standing around waiting at the set’s café, none other than David Cronenberg walked right past me! Normally I don’t geek out about such things, but Cronenberg is a god, and to see him in person was truly a thrill. He’s in pre-production on his next film at the same studio we were at, which explains his presence.
I wish I could tell you guys more about the set itself, but we’re under strict orders to keep our mouths shut until the time is right. I can tell you that everyone working on it seems very excited, and I’m sure it’s going to be a great follow-up to the first!
