A Sneak Peek of the World War Z Trailer

Never mind the rewrites, reshoots, and behind-the-scenes drama. All we care about is that World War Z delivers the zombie goods when it finally arrives next June. Check out a sneak peek of the upcoming trailer, and check back every day between now and Thursday (when the full trailer debuts on ET) for more.

Unless they change the premiere date again, Paramount is releasing the Marc Forster-directed adaptation of the Max Brooks zombie infestation novel World War Z on June 21, 2013.

The novel is set 10 years after a global zombie epidemic and is an oral history told from many perspectives around the world. Brad Pitt plays a U.N. employee racing against time and fate as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly zombie pandemic, and his Plan B shingle is producing. Mireille Enos ("Big Love", "The Killing") plays his wife, a mother of two girls.

More clueless Hollywood garbage.

Well that steamer just crushed any hope I still had that a good film was going to be salvaged from the production mess. I wonder if they actually read the book or just bought the rights for name recognition? Nothing in that clip would or could exist in the book universe. Really sad, I actually had high hopes for this project. Oh well, at least we are getting a new restoration of Fulci's UK cut Zombie Flesh Eaters.

The piles and piles of tumbling CGI zombies is total crap. I'm so tired of bad computer effects taking the place of well thought-out, well designed, good looking practical effects. I'd rather see one good zombie than 100 silly fake ones.

Holy crap that looks pretty epic. I'll give the trailer a chance.

I really hope that CGI is used sparingly because that just looked shit. Like a cut video game scene. As for this movie I assume Pitt is not the narrator chronicling the fall so much as he is another character entirely? So far, so terrible.
