The Vampire Diaries Goes for the Gold with Guest Appearance by Olympic Champion Gabby Douglas

As if 16-year-old Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas hasn't already accomplished a great deal in her young life, she's just had another dream come true and is heading to Mystic Falls for a cameo on "The Vampire Diaries".

Per TV Guide, Gabby will appear this season in the seventh episode of "The Vampire Diaries," her favorite TV show. Series star Ian Somerhalder (@iansomerhalder) tweeted the photo you see on the right along with the following: Eating @gabrielledoug 's Gold medal!yummmmmmm...
