Let it never be said that the Eerie Horror Film Fest doesn’t take care of its fans. Hot on the heels of the recent unfortunate announcement that George A. Romero’s scheduled appearance had to be cancelled due to health reasons, the fest’s promoters filled his spot with not just one or two, but three genre favorites: Land of the Dead star Eugene Clark, Day of the Dead star Joe Pilato, and the legendary Tom Atkins (Creepshow, Halloween III), all of whom will appear this weekend!
Tonight, October 6, the EHFF welcomes Lynn Lowry, star of Romero’s classic The Crazies, which will be shown at 9:00 pm. Following that will be a special screening of Child’s Play with star Alex Vincent.
Check out the Eerie Horror Film Festival’s official site for further details, and in the meantime be sure not to miss my recent interview with filmmaker (and EHFF Board member) Mark Steensland, whose short films Sucker and Lovecraft’s Pillow will both be screened this Sunday.
