In the world of independent filmmaking there are those with talent and those without. There’s really no in between judging by the number of movies I’ve been sent this year. Rarely do any of them just sit in the middle and such is the case with Die and Let Live (review).
This zombie comedy by director Justin Channell was an unexpected surprise in a genre littered with piles low budget pics and the undead. There was just something about Die that had me going, “Wow, these guys actually tried to entertain us!” Then depression sank in because this film was not getting a quick push to DVD.
However, that all changed today when we received a press release announcing that Die and Let Live will be available to the public on January 28th! You can get it at Netflix, Best Buy and of course through Evilshop! The DVD will come packed with deleted scenes, outtakes, director’s commentary, trailers and a behind-the-scenes featurette.
Check below for the pic’s trailer and please give this film a chance. While you’re at it, add the filmmakers to your friends list on MySpace too.
