More Wolves Join the Pack
Finally some casting news has come in for David Hayter's furry fright flick Wolves, and we have it for you right here free of fleas, ticks, and all that confounded howling. Read on for the latest on who's eating whom.
According to Variety, Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, "Game of Thrones") and Merritt Patterson (The Hole) are joining Lucas Till in werewolf thriller Wolves with David Hayter helming from his own script in his feature directing debut. Wolves is set to shoot in Toronto this fall. Copperheart's Steve Hoban is producing with Benedict Carver, Steven Paul, and Hartley Gorenstein exec producing.
Entertainment One has acquired Canadian rights to the film. The producers will handle sales rights in the US, the UK, and Benelux while TF1 Intl. will handle the rest of the world.
Till will portray an 18-year-old who's forced to hit the road after the death of his parents and finds his way to an isolated town to hunt down the truth of his ancestry -- giving rise to the question of who's hunting whom.
Igor Studios' Dave Elsey is designing the original creatures for Wolves. He created "Beast" for X-Men: First Class, for which he won a Saturn Award.
More as it comes.
