From the Press Release
MassConcerts and Rock And Shock are thrilled to announce the addition of Heather Langenkamp. She is undoubtedly most well known for her role as the teenage insomniac Nancy Thompson in Wes Craven’s 1984 classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, a movie recognized by People Magazine as the Fifth Most Popular Horror Film of All Time. Over the last 25 years Langenkamp appeared in two more Elm Street films: the very successful A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and the critically acclaimed Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Heather also released a documentary last year entitled I Am Nancy. The focus is on Lagenkamp herself and her unique experience playing Nancy Thompson, Wes Craven’s legendary teen heroine. She also starred in, executive produced, and narrated the 2010 documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy. Make sure to stop by her table for an autograph and photo, and see to it that you thank her for always keeping Freddy in his place!

Also generating much excitement is the addition of one of music’s most legendary drummers, Peter Criss. The original drummer for the rock band KISS, “Catman” will be making a very special appearance to meet and greet all his fans. He is scheduled to release his autobiography, Makeup to Breakup: My Life In and Out of Kiss, on October 23, 2012, which he teamed up with author Larry Sloman to write. The book traces Peter’s life from the streets of New York City to his battle with breast cancer. Publisher Simon & Schuster reports that Peter’s life goes “from sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll to multiple brushes with death; Makeup to Breakup will be Peter Criss’ unvarnished and eye-opening life story”. In addition to attending the three-day convention there will be a special VIP Experience ticket available for Peter Criss. More info on this VIP Experience will be announced soon.
