Tim Sullivan talks Clowns, BloodTim Sullivan’s getting ready to get back behind the camera for 2001 Maniacs; Beverly Hellbillys very soon, but that’s not all the director has up his sleeve as he revealed in a recent interview with Windy City Times.

“After [2001 Maniacs: Beverly Hellbillys there’s] a project I am directing for Tobe Hooper with Diamond Dallas Page called Clowns,” he revealed to the magazine. Though this is the first I’ve heard of the project, one can only imagine what kind of sick things Sullivan will come up with for a movie about people’s most-feared circus performers.

But that’s not all; “After that I am going into production on a supernatural love story called Brothers of the Blood, depicting a love triangle between two male vampires and a female mortal,” he continued, “It will be sexy, scary, tragic, elegant, operatic and, yes, highly erotic. Thomas Dekker, who was on [ TV’s ] “Heroes” and is John Connor in the new Terminator TV series for Fox, will be playing the young male vampire, and we are in talks with Rob Lowe to play the elder.”

Rob Lowe, eh? Though not the superstar he once was, the name still holds some value and will no doubt bring big attention to the project if he signs on. Check out the full interview right here and keep it on Dread Central for more on all three movies Sullivan’s preparing to unleash!
