Full Moon's Next Horror Movie is Going to be Reel Evil
Reel Evil sounds like it will be a major departure from the sort of horror movies we’ve come to expect from Full Moon. No miniature monsters or murderers this time. No campy antics from the sounds of things either. This one looks to be aiming for full on horror about paranormal activity of the Hollywood variety.
Danny Draven (Ghost Month, Death Bed) takes to the director’s chair for Full Moon’s Reel Evil, which is set to begin shooting sometime in the next two weeks. We don’t know who will star yet or even what exactly it’s about. We do know that it has to do with ghost hunters in famously haunted Hollywood locale that end up getting more than they bargained for as is always the case with these ghost hunting movies.
According to Draven, the film will be shot in a Hollywood location that really is said to be haunted and all through the film’s production he’ll be conducting EVP tests to see if he can make contact with actual spirits.
So, basically, this could quickly devolve into a found footage movie about a film crew terrorized and systematically killed off by actual Hollywood ghosts while shooting a movie about a team of ghost hunters being terrorized and systematically killed off by Hollywood ghosts.
One thing is for certain: the teaser trailer for Reel Evil is pretty damn cool. See for yourself.
