Robert Kurtzman has decided to spread some Christmas joy a bit early today with very cool news regarding his gore-filled splatter epic The Rage (review); the film has finally settled on a distributor and will be out on DVD come February 26th, 2008 from Screen Media/Universal Home Entertainment!
Hey, that’s a mere three days before my birthday!
To help celebrate even more the official Rage site has received a sexy overhaul that includes a brand-new trailer and tons of information about the movie. The Rage tells of an angry scientist (Andrew Divoff) who creates a virus that causes anyone who comes in contact with it to become horribly mutated and bloodthirsty and the kids who accidentally cross his path after a Mushroomhead concert.
It’s not a perfect film by any means but it is fun as hell and gory as fuck, so keep that in mind and I’m sure you’ll dig the shit out of it. Check out four new exclusive pics from The Rage below for a small taste of what you’re in for!
