Friday the 13th Scribe Mark Wheaton to Play Finders & Keepers in the Literary World

After having some young people dismembered in the dullest and most unmemorable of ways possible, it just makes sense to go and wet your feet in young adult novel land, doesn’t it? Hey, it can only get better from here! Read on for more.

THR reports that Los Angeles-based ZOVA Books has signed a multi-book deal with Mark Wheaton (Friday the 13th remake) for a young adult series titled Finders & Keepers.

The series centers on a typical, everyday
 American teenager named Christopher Dash who suddenly finds himself on the run and forced to hook up 
with a group of teen vagabonds-turned-artifact hunters in 
London. 

ZOVA will release the first
 book, The Sword of the Realm, in summer 2013, with the second, The Golden Fleet, coming the following year.
