Help Pick 2007’s Scariest Stud
As a member of Dread Central’s female contingency, I’m always on the lookout for information that might be of special interest to my sisters in horror, and today we got the news from Pretty-Scary that it’s time to vote for the 2007 Scary Stud of the Year!
The 12 Studs, each of whom had his own layout in 2007 on Pretty-Scary, include:
Mr. December Connor Ross, one of the stars of Tim Sullivan’s Driftwood
Mr. November Jimmy Hemphill, the award-winning filmmaker behind the rape/revenge horror film Bad Reputation
Mr. October Andre Gower, star of the 80’s classic The Monster Squad
Mr. September Kirk “Sticky Fingaz” Jones (pictured), who played the most recent incarnation of everyone’s favorite badass vampire with an attitude, Blade, on SpikeTV
Mr. August Adam Green, director of not one, but two, acclaimed films that debuted this year, Hatchet and Spiral
Mr. July Don Mancini, who probably needs no introduction, but just in case, is the man responsible for unleashing Chucky on an unsuspecting world
Mr. June Brian Pulido, creator of the fantasy/horror comic series Lady Death
Mr. May Eric Stanze, the multi-talented mastermind behind St. Louis’ indie haven Wicked Pixel Cinema
Mr. April Danny Lopes, who has played leading roles in such films as Horror, Desecration, and Satan’s Playground
Mr. March Christopher Garetano, the documentarian extraordinaire who put together Horror Business and its sequel Son of Horror Business
Mr. February Paul Solet, best known for his short films Means to an End and Grace and currently putting together various feature-length projects
Mr. January Eric Spudic, a staple of such low-budget shockers as Psycho Santa, Dead Clowns, and Zombiegeddon
I’ve cast my vote. You can do the same by clicking here to visit the voting booth Good luck, guys!
