Get Activated by New Total Recall Clip
Alrighty then! Time for yet another clip from Len Wiseman's take on Total Recall. Why do we get the feeling we're gonna be seeing at least one of these per day until the film's release? Can nothing be saved for theatres anymore?
The Total Recall remake will be landing in theatres on August 3rd, 2012.
Synopsis
Welcome to Rekall, the company that can turn your dreams into real memories. For a factory worker named Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell), even though he's got a beautiful wife (Kate Beckinsale) whom he loves, the mind-trip sounds like the perfect vacation from his frustrating life - real memories of life as a super-spy might be just what he needs. But when the procedure goes horribly wrong, Quaid becomes a hunted man. Finding himself on the run from the police – controlled by Chancellor Cohaagen (Bryan Cranston) – there is no one Quaid can trust, except possibly a rebel fighter (Jessica Biel) working for the head of the underground resistance (Bill Nighy). The line between fantasy and reality gets blurred and the fate of his world hangs in the balance as Quaid discovers his true identity, his true love, and his true fate.

Veep is hilarious.
Armando Iannucci has a gift for amazingly quick and witty dialogue as evidenced there and in In the Loop.

Check out The Thick Of It. It's his original (very British) political comedy (which was spun off into In The Loop). It's even more petty and profane than Veep, if you can imagine.

I'm looking forward to this.

Its too bad this movie is going to be horrible. Im a huge Bryan Cranston fan since I became addicted to Breaking Bad. But with the PG-13 rating I can already say that Ronny Cox has better dialouge.

Breaking Bad is amazing. Probably the best written show ever put on screen. I hate saying that because horror is my first love with SF and fantasy close seconds... but nothing (except perhaps The Shield) has come close to the consistently stunning writing of Breaking Bad.
I'm sure Bryan Cranston will be wasted in this unnecessary remake.

Way off topic, but did you watch The Wire? It's totally different but just as good. And how great was the BB season premiere? That shit with the magnet had us dying! LOL

I'm wondering what the opening of Breaking Bad meant. It's very unnerving.

Yeah, I own every season of The Wire. A really intelligent extremely well written show. It takes a more realistic approach to it's subject matter and maybe that's why the more dramatic Breaking Bad and The Shield have more emotional resonance for me.
The season premiere for BB was awesome; the magnet was beyond amusing. It had me smiling all the way through. I hope someday Vince Galligan aims his talents at the horror genre.

The Wire, man. I think it might be the best show of all time.
Breaking Bad rawks too, though.
With The Shield and The Sopranos rounding it out. Might put Game of Thrones on that list, but it's too early to tell.

Haven't seen Breaking Bad yet (it's on my list...), but I agree with you about The Wire. It's hard to imagine any show being better.
I like Game of Thrones, but don't think it's nearly at The Wire's level. It's a lot cheesier, and the characters aren't as interesting. Speaking as someone who's read the books, by the time you get to Season (Book) 4 & 5, there are a million irrelevant storylines/red herrings/characters locked in wordy refrigerators that HBO'll need to condense or eliminate to keep the show as interesting as it is now. And Dany is just horrible, in both the books and the show. That being said, I'll be watching Season 3. There's some great twists coming up :)
Right now, I'm waiting for the next series of The Thick Of It, Sherlock, Community (a bit concerned there) and Veep (what can I say, I love Armando Iannucci).

Game of Thrones is definitely knocking on the door.
I also believe that if Carnivale had been allowed to run it's course it could have been top 3 as well.
