Amanda Plummer Ready to Start Catching Fire for New Hunger Games Flick

According to the official Hunger Games Facebook page, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire officially has its "Wiress" in Amanda Plummer. Things have certainly just gotten a bit more interesting with this addition as Plummer can really turn on the crazy when she needs to.

From the site: “Wiress' eccentricity earns her the nickname 'Nuts' from fellow tributes. Though she doesn’t communicate traditionally, her observations and contributions prove invaluable.”

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire follows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returning home after winning the 74th annual Hunger Games along with Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares for the 75th annual Games (known as the Quarter Quell).

Francis Lawrence will direct Catching Fire, for which Lionsgate is eying a September start and a November 22, 2013, release. Nina Jacobson's Color Force produces with Jon Kilik.
