Just the other day it was announced that Cold Prey, the world’s first Norwegian snowboarding slasher film, was finally seeing a release here in the States (“U.S. Release for Cold Prey” – November 2007), and already a sequel is in the works.
Well, to be fair I’m sure a sequel was in the works beforehand; this is just good timing. Cold Prey 2 will be directed by first-time helmer Mats Stenberg, taking over the reins from Roar Uthaug (how cool a first name is that?), and Twitch Film just got the heads up that the film is greenlit and ready to rock.
Cold Prey 2 will pick up where the first film leaves off, which won’t mean a lot to those of us who haven’t seen it. The survivor girl finds her bruised and battered way to a hospital, only to wake up in a hospital bed to find the place empty and dark. And the terror begins anew!
Keep it here for more info on the sequel as it comes down!
Think of cooler names you wish you had in the Dread Central forums!
