Victor Crowley Figure at Fear Fest!

Horror Idols' Victor Crowley figure! As you’ve probably heard, all things Hatchet-related have seemingly happened because of either chance or good luck, from director Adam Green’s support from Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider to its eventual release, and this latest development is no exception.

We got an e-mail this week from Neal DeConte, the owner of Horror Idols, one of the best high-end collectible makers working today. He had some good news for us; not only would they be at Fear Fest March 7th-9th, but they’ll also be using the show to unveil their latest work: Hatchet villain Victor Crowley!

The figure came about after DeConte approached Green at another horror con, and he’s already got two deposits on the statue, sight unseen. Of course, all we have to show you right now is a silhouette of the figure, but I can tell you that he’s a whopping 18.75” tall and will come with a façade of the Crowley home behind him as well as a brass plague signed by Crowley himself, Kane Hodder! Don’t get too excited about nabbing more than one, though; like all of Idols’ goodies he’s hand-crafted, and this one alone will likely be going for well over $1,000 when it’s all done. But man is it worth it!

Also at the Horror Idols booth all weekend during Fear Fest will be Ryan Fleming, aka Hucklebilly from Tim Sullivan’s 2001 Maniacs. Why? Because Horror Idols is making a Hucklebilly figure as well, so Fleming will be there signing and taking photos with fans! Stop by and check ‘em out when you get to the con (you ARE going, right?) and look for a very special offer from Horror Idols only for Dread Central readers very soon!

Am I the only person that sees the similarities between Madman Marz and Victor Crowley?
