Jensen Ackles to Direct the Premiere Episode of Supernatural Season 8

SupernaturalSeason 7 of "Supernatural" is now at an end - and a very interesting end it was! - so let's turn our attention to Season 8, the first episode of which will be directed by series star Jensen Ackles. The only downside? He gets just a very brief break before heading back to work in Vancouver.

Ackles told Us Weekly during the The CW's recent Upfront in New York City, "We don't get a very long break -- it's about two and a half months. I actually have to go back early because I'm going to direct the first episode. My break is even a littler shorter, but we [he and wife Danneel Harris] try to make the most of it. It's not optimal, but as I always say, it's a good problem to have!"

As for any potential seasons after No. 8, Ackles is amenable. "As long as there's an audience, we're going to continue to keep telling stories. We're excited about it."

Considering what condition the Winchester brothers are in at the end of Season 7, all we can say is get back to work as soon as you can, Jensen. We need to know what happens next!

I really hope this season doesn't signal the beginning of the end for Supernatural.

After a wholly underwhelming season I'm hoping for a return to form next year.

Dean is my Favorite character in Supernatural........
Only his gestures and the actions that he supported make the film
more interesting .....Now if he'll be a director , I'm sure he'll make
much more wonderful shows for that film ............
But the other characters also could do the marvellous actions.....
I wanna say that if you are not tried "Supernatural"yet ....You better
try it now.....Otherwise...You won't be up to date.....
