Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones may not have been the most popular film in the franchise, but no one can dispute how natural all of its stars were, and one of them is heading to Mystic Falls for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6. Read on to see who it is!

Per Deadline, Gabrielle Walsh (pictured), who also appears in the upcoming thriller The Hive, will play Sarah, who comes to town with spunk, street smarts, and a shady agenda. The role is possibly recurring and will be introduced in the sixth season premiere on October 2nd.

We learned previously there will be a substantial time jump when the show resumes in the fall, and we’ll have lots more for you during San Diego Comic-Con, where the “TVD” powers-that-be will no doubt reveal a few hints of what’s ahead.
