#SDCC14: Bates Motel Once Again Checking In at the San Diego Comic-Con

Last year one of the most popular horror-themed panels at SDCC was for “Bates Motel,” and the show is returning this year in full force! Read on for the details, and look for a release date for the Season 2 Blu-ray/DVD shortly.

“Bates Motel” cast members who will be attending the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con include Emmy Award nominee and recent Saturn Award winner Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, Olivia Cooke, and Nestor Carbonell.

They will be joined by executive producers Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin for a thought-provoking panel discussion about the critically acclaimed drama on Friday, July 25th, from 3:30-4:30 pm in Room 6A.

“Bates Motel,” from Universal Television, serves as a contemporary prequel to the genre-defining film Psycho, giving viewers an intimate portrayal of how Norman Bates’ psyche unravels through his teenage years. Fans have access to the dark, twisted back story of Norman Bates and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.

Season 3 of “Bates Motel” is slated to air in early 2015.
