The award-winning Ghost Trek: The Kinsey Report, (Best Comedy Award at Fright Night Film Fest, and an Addy Award for Best Film Presentation Package in 2011) will screen publicly for the last time at Blood on the Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The screening will be held at 7 PM at the Tidewater Area's first horror convention featuring a number of horror and sci-fi icons.
Ghost Trek creator, Michael Plumides, recently signed a production deal with ThinkFactory Media, the Los Angeles-based production company responsible for producing "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels", and next month's mini-series, "Hatfields and McCoys" with Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton to air on History Channel this Memorial Day. The series is now in development.
Plumides, his co-director Robert Filion, and Ghost Trek actors Addy Miller ("The Walking Dead"), Christy Johnson (Mortuary) and Brett Gentile (Cold Storage) will host the screening of the half hour pilot on Saturday, April 21st at 7PM. Also screening is Psychic Brats - a spin off show developed by Plumides featuring Guy Swisher - the Ghost Trek psychic (Gentile) as he counsels clairvoyant children with behavioral problems. Psychic Brats won the coveted Viewer's Choice Award at the Mad Monster Party late March in Charlotte, NC.
