Things are looking pretty grim for the good ol’ US of A in this new teaser for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, but we’ve been down before and managed to come back. Will we do so again, or is a #FourthOfApes in our future?

Look for the film in theatres on July 11th, 2014. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-Mcphee, Enrique Muriciano, and Kirk Acevedo.

Synopsis
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
