#SDCC14: First Look at the Exclusive Cover for Issue #9 of The Walking Dead, The Official MagazineThe official The Walking Dead magazine is getting ready to unleash its ninth issue, which features Norman Reedus on the cover… the regular edition that is. There’s an alternate version headed to SDCC 2014 which is sure to please fans of the comic series.

We’re just a couple weeks away from the San Diego Comic-Con, and the exclusive cover will only be available at the event in Titan’s booth #5537.

Designed by Walking Dead comic book artist Charlie Adlard, the limited edition cover for Issue #9 features the barbed wire bat-wielding Negan, who has yet to appear on AMC’s “The Walking Dead” TV series.

In the issue Reedus (aka badass zombie killer Daryl Dixon) is in the house as he talks us through the dramatic and traumatic events of Season 4, from losing the prison to saying goodbye to old friends and welcoming new arrivals. The magazine also takes a special look at those who haven’t been so lucky at surviving, including how they snuffed it and why.

Comic creator and TV show executive producer Robert Kirkman rounds up what else is going on in The Walking Dead universe from “All Out War – Part 2” to filming Season 5 and everything in-between.

“The Walking Dead” Magazine #9 is packed with exciting new and exclusive content so even if you aren’t attending Comic-Con, be sure to pick up your copy when it goes on sale July 15th.
