Supernatural Named TV Guide's Fan Favorite Horror Series
What's this? A publication actually calling a TV series "horror"? Bless you, TV Guide! Miracles do happen! Read on to learn who won the magazine's Fan Favorites Awards this year, which actually include a couple of genre-tinged winners.
First things first: "Supernatural" was awarded Favorite Horror Series. Hopefully this will bode well for the show's chances of being renewed for an eighth season.
In other categories Michael C. Hall won Favorite Actor for "Dexter" while "Fringe" was named Favorite Drama and "Once Upon a Time" landed two awards - Favorite New Show and Favorite Villain for Lana Parrilla's wicked Evil Queen. Fans of "OUAT", take note; executive producer Eddie Kitsis says, "We have a finale planned that is going to be so unexpected that the audience will be left wondering what happened."
Lastly, even though it's not horror, we must note that "Ringer" won (hands down we're sure) Favorite Guilty Pleasure. If ever there was a train wreck of a show that we can't take our eyes off of, it's that one!
