Offered alongside the Mark Time Award (for ‘Best Science Fiction Audio Production of the Year’), the Ogle Award is bestowed by The American Society for Science Fiction Audio (ASFSFA), whose judging panel praised The Legend of Springheel’d Jack for its “well-crafted, ambitious” approach to radio drama.

Co-creators Robert Valentine and Jack Bowman were thrilled, announcing: “Our thanks to ASFSFA for this award. We’re delighted that they have chosen to acknowledge the word and efforts of all of those involved in the second series of The Springheel Saga, both in front and behind the microphone. This is a tremendous gift for everyone who worked on the project, and our fans, as we continue work on the third – and final – series. Thank you all.

Episode 1 Synopsis:
London, 1837. A terrifying apparition stalks the night! Constable Jonah Smith must avoid a pair of vicious killers in his hunt for the mysterious figure who will come to be known as… Springheel’d Jack!
