The last time I heard anything about Timber Falls was when Foy reported on it just over a year ago (“Timber! You’re Dead!” – October 2006). News about the project has been so quiet that it took a couple of minutes to even recognize the name when it popped up today.
The memories came flooding back thanks to the exclusive trailer Fangoria got today, and I’ll admit that Timber Falls isn’t looking too bad.
The story “follows a pair of backpackers, trekking through the mountains, who encounter some deranged locals fixin’ to extend their bloodline through their own nefarious methods.” Thanks to the red-band trailer Fango has, we get to see a glimpse of those methods. I never want to go to West Virginia again!
