E3 2014 hasn’t been bursting with content for Nintendo Wii U fans who are looking for something a bit darker to mess around with on their little system that could. Thankfully though, there has been one shining light! It’s been a long road for us Bayonetta fans, and the end is in sight!
During Nintendo’s E3 Direct presentation it was announced that after years of waiting, Bayonetta 2 is finally going to be seeing the light of day this October! We’re still waiting on a firm date, but hey, that’s at least something.
Platinum Games had even more tricks up their sleeves though… we can now confirm that the original Bayonetta, last seen on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, will be included on the same disc! But wait… there’s more! Platinum also announced that there will be special Nintendo themed outfits available for everyone’s favorite hairy supernatural minx including favorites such as Peach, Samus, and Link costumes.
The witching hour strikes again. Brimming with intricate battles that take place in, on, and all over epic set pieces, Bayonetta 2 finds our sassy heroine battling angels and demons in unearthly beautiful HD. You’re bound to love how it feels to string together combos with unimaginable weapons and to summon demons using Bayonetta’s Umbran Weave in this frantic stylized action game. Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive.
