Brittany Murphy Gets up Early

Brittany Murphy to start in 3:30 AMBrittany Murphy in a horror film? I guess everyone has to try it at least once, right? Unless you count Cherry Falls or The Prophecy II, but both of those were before she was “big”.

It was announced during AFM that Murphy has signed on to play the lead in Mick Davis’ 3:30 AM, a psychological horror film about a girl who moves to the country from New York after the death of her father and gets a job in what I would only guess is a haunted country hotel. The Variety article states the film is about the connection between dreams and reality, which is just far too vague for my tastes.

The only Mick Davis I could find out there is the man who wrote both the original and the David Goyer remake of The Invisible, so it’s probably safe to assume it’s the same guy. Davis wrote 3:30 AM, as well, and will direct it, with Milcoz and Future Films co-producing it.
