Sometimes you just have to do things you normally wouldn’t when times are desperate. There are situations that call for breaking the law or bending the rules just to survive. Too bad that doesn’t necessarily apply to stealing Rusty Nails’ car when you’re trying to get to a concert.
Yes, that is indeed the premise to Joy Ride: End of the Line. For those that don’t remember Rusty, he was the gruff voiced psycho that chased down Paul Walker, Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn six years ago. I was pretty sure Rusty Nails was dead at the end of the endings on the DVD release of Joy Ride, but I guessed wrong. He’s back and now he’s after the punks who stole his car!
STYD confirmed today who would be the next victims of the hellish truck driver, and boy do they do not sound familiar. The confirmed list includes: Nick Zano, Nicki Aycox, Laura Jordan, Kyle Schmid and Mark Gibbon as Rusty Nails.
On the good side this means there are far more victims than the previous film. The con here is that this makes it more of a “wait and see” sort of sequel, and it won’t be hitting theatres or DVD till next year.
