Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery Blu-ray Box Set Dated For This Summer

Blu-ray news doesn’t often get better than this announcement of Twin Peaks: The Complete Mystery box set. Especially for those of us who’ve long pined for that infamous Fire Walk With Me missing footage.

EW reports that Twin Peaks: The Complete Mystery Blu-ray set will be available to own starting on July 29th. For the first time the complete series run will be packaged with the prequel movie, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. Even better, FWWM will feature a brand new transfer supervised by director David Lynch and, at long last, nearly 90 minutes of deleted footage and alternate takes (included as an extra).

Peaks fans have obsessed over this notorious footage for more than 20 years. It’s hard to believe that today we’re only a few months away from seeing it all. This is probably the last bit of “new” material that the world of Twin Peaks is going to get, so have an extra cup of coffee and a slice of cherry pie today in anticipation. Oh, and check out the teaser trailer below, which includes just a taste of what we’ll be seeing on July 29th.
