See a Pair of Clips from El Rey Network Presents: The Director’s Chair with John Carpenter

We told you the other day about El Rey Network’s new series “The Director’s Chair,” which has genre legend John Carpenter as its first guest, and now we have a couple of clips to share.
“El Rey Network Presents: The Director’s Chair” is a new hour-long series featuring the industry’s most notable directors as they engage in a revealing and unexpected exchange about the world of filmmaking. The first of ten primetime installments will premiere Saturday, May 10th, on El Rey Network.
The series will provide a forum for two directors to go one-on-one, offering viewers access inside the minds of some of Hollywood’s most celebrated and iconic filmmakers. Directors will come together for an intimate dialogue about their craft and their inspirations and will explore the early and memorable films that helped propel them to superstar status. Creator and producer Rodriguez will personally lead the conversations in several of the early episodes, including the one featuring Carpenter.
To kick off the day, El Rey Network will feature a “Carpen-TERROR” Movie Marathon starting at 1:00 PM ET on May 10th. The full schedule is below. If you want to tweet along, be sure to use the hashtag #RideWithElRey.
