Jaws. For some it is still the greatest horror movie of all time. It’s been nearly 40 years since Jaws shocked and thrilled audiences…and the monster shark is still affecting pop culture to this day. Check out a couple of Jaws related items below.
As for Jaws item number one for today…well, that has a lot to do with a big time blockbuster that is about to be unleashed on audiences.
Check out the JawZilla trailer. It’s a compilation of scenes from Jaws with the audio track for a Godzilla trailer, voiced by Bryan Cranston, laid over top of them, creating a pretty unique and effective Jaws trailer. Check it out below. Somehow, it really works!
Second, we’d like to give you an opportunity to build your own version of the Orca! That’s right, just like we pushed for the Winchester from Shaun of the Dead to become a real Lego set, there is now a campaign for the good folks at Lego to create a Jaws set. Through Lego Ideas, individuals are allowed to post ideas for potential future Lego sets while others get to vote their support for the project. If a proposed Lego set gets 10,000 votes of support, then it goes into consideration by Lego for creation. The Jaws Lego set would include the infamous boat, the Orca, as well as mini-figures of Brody, Quint and Hooper mini-figures and Jaws himself!
