Our collective attention here at Dread Central was most certainly captured earlier this year by the sales trailer for Fear Paris, an anthology of horror tales set to explore the dark underbelly of France’s capital.
With three directors already attached, two more have just rounded out the list of contributors, and you’ll find all the latest by reading on!
Bloody Disgusting reports that Midnight Meat Train director Ryuhei Kitamura and The Devil Inside‘s William Brent Bell have both readied their passports for a trip to Paris. They join the previously announced Joe Dante (Gremlins, The Hole), Xavier Gens (Frontier(s), Hitman), and Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky).
Fear Paris is described as “genre-bending” with connected stories that will present a Paris unlike anything seen before. Check out the awesome sales trailer below to whet your appetite!
Casting is under way as the film will go into production this summer/fall.
Laura Rister (Untitled Entertainment) and Ehud Bleiberg (Bleiberg Entertainment), together with Steven Schneider (Vicarious Entertainment), join Darryn Welch (Instinctive Film) to produce the film.
Tony Noble (Moon) is the production designer. Kristyan Mallet (Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter) is on board for special effects makeup and prosthetics. The imaginative world will be created in collaboration with the great visual effects minds at Pixomondo (Hugo) and Prime Focus (Gravity, Judge Dredd). Richard Raaphorst (Frankenstein’s Army) is the concept designer.
