Lionsgate Teams With Sci Fi

I don’t get what the point of striking a deal now to air movies that are many years old on the Sci Fi Channel benefits anyone, but then I guess they’re better than what’s usually passing as entertainment on Sci Fi.
Lionsgate struck a deal with USA Network and it’s sibling at Sci Fi Channel for a package of pics that include everything from the Saw movies to Good Luck Chuck. While USA is super special getting things like The Condemned, Sci Fi will be airing movies like Saw II, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed and Toolbox Murders, films that’ve been on DVD for years but never got the attention LG felt they deserved, I guess.
The point is we’ll be seeing more Lionsgate on Sci Fic, and thankfully not a single Uli Lommel film was mentioned in the story in Daily Variety. Which doesn’t necessarily mean those aren’t included, as well…
