ModernCine’s Home Movies Nears End

Chrstopher Denham in HeadspaceThough any information out there about this one is sparse at best (a credit to the producers, no doubt), we got word from Moderncine president Andrew van den Houten that work is wrapping up on the production house’s latest feature, Home Movie.

From what I could discover about it, Home Movie sounds like it might be a “found footage” film, detailing the life of the Poe family. As in Edgar Allan, you ask? Honestly I don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll be digging up more soon enough.

What I can tell you for sure is that Home Movie is the directorial debut of Christopher Denham, star of Moderncine’s first film, Headspace (review), and that they managed to get the film’s sound done at Skywalker Sound; quite a feat for a company with only two productions (the other being Jack Ketchum’s The Girl Next Door) under its belt.

Stay tuned for more soon!
